Serves: 6-8 servings

Ingredients
  • 6 slices maple-cured bacon, minced
  • 1 cup chopped milk chocolate
  • ½ cup rice krispies cereal
Instructions
  1. In a non-stick pan, fry bacon over medium heat until very crispy, 8 to 10 minutes.
  2. Drain bacon bits and place on a paper towel to remove excess grease. Pat with more paper towels (you want to remove as much grease as possible). Set aside and let cool.
  3. Meanwhile, in the top pan of a double boiler over medium heat, melt chocolate. When chocolate is 80 percent melted, remove from heat and keep stirring until completely melted and smooth.
  4. Add bacon to the melted chocolate. Delicately fold in rice krispies.
  5. Pour into silicone molds or spread on a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate for 2 hours or more.
  6. Remove chocolates from the molds or if using a pan, cut into desired shapes.
  7. Enjoy!
