Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

Ingredients
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup canned pumpkin
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¾ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup milk chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Grease and flour 12 muffin cups or use paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix sugar, oil and eggs. Add pumpkin and water. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, spices and salt. Add wet mixture and stir in chocolate chips.
  3. Fill muffin cups ⅔ full with batter. Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool in pan on rack for 5 minutes. Transfer to rack; let cool.
