Ingredients

  • 1 lb head-on large shrimp
  • Sea salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
  • 4 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • Chopped green onions

Instructions

  • Trim tendrils off shrimp with scissors and then rinse under cold running water. Drain, pat dry with paper towels and then season with salt. Set aside.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Add the garlic and quickly stir-fry for 20 seconds.
  • Add the shrimp and cook, stirring, for 2-3 minutes or until shrimp turns pink.
  • In a small bowl, combine sweet chili sauce and ketchup. Add the sauce to the pan; cook for a minute, stirring until shrimp is completely covered with the sauce. Make sure not to overcook the shrimp. Sprinkle with green onions.
  • Serve and enjoy!
