Raspberry Sauce

This easy raspberry sauce recipe is the perfect addition to any dessert. Made with frozen raspberries, sugar, and cornstarch, it takes just minutes to prepare. Serve it over pancakes, waffles, cheesecakes, ice cream, or any dessert of your choice for a delicious and fruity touch.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz frozen raspberries
  • 3 tbsp sugar plus more for tasting
  • 1 1/2 tsp cornstarch dissolved in 1 tbsp water

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, combine together the frozen raspberries and sugar. Bring to a boil over medium high heat. Stir the cornstarch/water mixture and then add it into the saucepan. Stirring constantly, cook until slightly thickened.
  • Press mixture through a fine mesh strainer to separate the seeds. You may discard the seeds if desired.
  • Serve over pancakes, waffles, cheesecakes, ice creams or other desserts.
