Broccoli with Balsamic Vinaigrette

Ingredients

broccoli florets
¼
cup
extra virgin olive oil
4
tsp
balsamic vinegar
2
tbsp
chopped fresh basil
1
small shallot
minced
1
clove
garlic
minced
Salt and pepper
to taste
Instructions
In a large saucepan of boiling salted water, cook broccoli until crisp tender, about a minute. Drain well and set aside.
In a big bowl, whisk together oil, vinegar, basil, shallot and garlic. Season dressing with salt and pepper to taste and toss with broccoli.
Serve with meat or seafood.
