Ingredients

  • 2 ½ lbs chicken wings , a mixture of drumettes and wingettes
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • ¼-1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes, depending on how spicy you want your wings to be
  • 1 clove garlic , minced

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degree F.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, mustard, soy sauce, red pepper flakes and garlic. Set aside.
  • Line a large rimmed baking pan with parchment paper. Arrange the chicken wings in a single layer on the pan. Season with salt and pepper. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
  • Drain the fat from the baking pan. Pour the maple garlic sauce over the wings. Coat the wings evenly with the sauce. Bake for another 20 minutes, turning once, or until wings are cooked through. Broil the wings for 2-3 minutes or until brown and crispy, turning as needed.
