Ingredients
Meatballs
2lbs.lean ground beef
1 ½cupsbread crumbs
¼cupmilk
¼cupfinely chopped onion
2eggsbeaten
1teaspoonsalt
½teaspoonpepper
Sour-cream sauce
1cupchopped onion
¼cupbutter
¼cupall purpose flour
¼cupketchup
2-10oz.cans consomméundiluted
2cupsfat-free sour cream
Instructions
Combine all meatball ingredients in a large bowl.
Mix well and roll in balls of desired size.
Place on edged cookie sheet and bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes.
Remove from oven, drain and set aside.
To make the sauce, melt butter in a pan. Add onion and cook until browned.
Add the flour and mix well.
Add ketchup and consommé, cooking slowly until thickened.
Add sour cream, then meatballs.
Serve over broad egg noodles or rice.
