Steak Burritos I have been making wraps at least once a week for my family. They can’t get enough of this delicious and versatile dish. I have made chicken fajitas, chicken Caesar salad wrap and then on Tuesday, I made steak burritos.  Steak burrito was a good choice to make because I was able to use all the left over flour tortillas and guacamole I used from making chicken fajitas. This steak burritos recipe is quick and easy to make. I was not surprised that it was a hit with my family. It was even better with the creamy guacamole and refreshing homemade salsa on the side. It was indeed an enjoyable and satisfying meal.  Steak Burritos

Cooking Tips for Perfect Steak Burritos

To make sure your steak burritos turn out great every time, start with the right cut of meat. Flank steak or sirloin works really well because they are tender and flavorful. Marinate the steak for at least 30 minutes before cooking to enhance the flavor. A simple marinade of olive oil, lime juice, garlic, and some spices can elevate the dish. When cooking the steak, use a hot grill or skillet to get a nice sear. This locks in the juices and gives the meat that delicious charred flavor. After cooking, let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing. This helps retain the juices, making every bite moist and tasty. Don’t forget to slice against the grain for tender pieces. Lastly, warm your tortillas before filling them. This makes them more pliable and easier to wrap around the delicious fillings.

Serving Suggestions for Steak Burritos

Steak burritos are super versatile and can be served in various ways. One popular method is to cut them in half and plate them with a side of homemade salsa and guacamole. This not only adds flavor but also makes for a colorful presentation. You can also serve them with a side of rice and beans for a heartier meal. If you want to get creative, consider adding some grilled veggies like bell peppers and onions to your burrito filling for extra flavor and texture. For a fun twist, serve them with a drizzle of sour cream or a sprinkle of crumbled cheese on top. If you are hosting a gathering, serving a burrito bar can be a hit. Set up a station with various toppings like shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, jalapeños, and different sauces. This way, everyone can customize their burrito just the way they like it.
