Baked Salmon with Herbed Mayo I first tasted this baked salmon with herbed mayo at a New Year’s get together with my sister and her family a few years ago. Everyone brought their own special dish to share. It included dishes like vegetarian pot pie, chicken macaroni soup, Korean barbecue ribs, chicken cacciatore and my nephew’s baked salmon with herbed mayo. The baked salmon was the favorite and it was the first one to go. Baked Salmon with Herbed Mayo Baked salmon is a huge favorite in my house. You can find some of my favorites that I’ve shared over the years below after the recipes. The most basic way I make baked salmon is to just sprinkle the salmon with seasoning salt and bake it. But, after tasting my nephew’s baked salmon, it has become a regular dish at my house now. Baked Salmon with Herbed Mayo

How to make Baked Salmon with Herbed Mayo

Baked salmon with herbed mayo is such an easy to follow recipe. It also consists of a few and easy accessible ingredients. A mixture of mayonnaise, chopped parsley, lemon juice and seasoning salt was spread all over the salmon and then the salmon was baked for 20 minutes.  The herbed mayonnaise mixture kept the salmon nice and moist while in the oven baking and at the same time it added flavor and texture to the dish.  This baked salmon with the herbed mayo was delicious and satisfying. It is no wonder it is a staple at any family gatherings I go to. No matter how I prepare baked salmon in the kitchen, one thing is certain: my family will definitely enjoy it!

Can you check if the sodium is correct? 1500mg is too much! That’s how much an avg person with high blood pressure should intake per day.

      Hi Amy,
Just rechecked and yes, the amount of sodium in the nutrition facts is correct. The recipe used 2 teaspoons of seasoning salt and 1 cup of mayonnaise. To adapt, you may decrease the amount of salt as well as the amount of mayonnaise. Hope these help!

Reduce the amount of lemon juice you are using. That is what makes the mayo runny. We love this recipe but always use half the listed amount of seasoning salt too.

Very tasty! My husband, children, and I scarfed the salmon down. The only thing I did differently was add a teaspoon of honey because I like a sweet touch. Thank you for this wonderful and easy recipe.
